Why Parrhesia?

It means to speak all freely, openly, and boldly. An ancient Greek word, Parrhesia developed into a biblical concept and characteristically Christian expression capturing the evangelical confidence, boldness, and freedom that comes with being a son or daughter of God. The attitude and disposition of the Apostles, Early Church, and all the Saints, the Church describes Parrhesia as “straightforward simplicity, filial trust, joyous assurance, humble boldness, [and] the certainty of being loved [by God].” (Catechism of the Catholic Church 2778) Particularly inspired by the confidence, boldness, and freedom of Saint Therese of Lisieux (the Little Flower), Parrhesia Ministries is all about spreading the fire of Parrhesia through the proclamation of Jesus Christ, alive and risen!
